Fellow Tea Party Patriots and Common Sense Citizens:

At this time of Thanksgiving, we all have many things to be thankful for.

We can be thankful that we still live in a free nation and have the right to speak out for liberty and against injustice.

We can be thankful for the men and women who have toiled, and fought, and died to establish, and win, and protect our precious freedoms.

We can be thankful that we live in the nation that serves, more than any other, as a beacon of liberty to a darkened world.

One thing that we should never neglect to be thankful for is each other.  We can be thankful that, in this crucial struggle for liberty, WE DO NOT STAND ALONE.  We stand SHOULDER-TO-SHOULDER with millions of brothers and sisters united for the cause of liberty.

Going forward, we should always remember to be thankful TO one another.  Each of you deserves a sincere 'thank you' from all of your fellow citizens for getting UP, getting OUT and getting INVOLVED, and we should not be shy in expressing that gratitude to one another.  If you're reading this, please know that we are thankful for you, because of the role you have played in making this happen.

We can and should all be thankful to have the opportunity to stand alongside such an incredible group of people fighting for the common principles we all hold dear.  This is a movement of regular citizens willing to step into the ring and mix it up with the self-anointed 'elites.'  None of us are professionals, but we're sharp and focused, and what we don't know we will learn.  We can and should be thankful and PROUD to be a part of this movement.

And for those on the left (and right) who continue to suggest, with a mixture of hope and fear, that this grassroots revolt is somehow fading, we have five words for them:

Less

YOU. AIN'T. SEEN. NOTHIN'. YET.

This year, our nation's political establishment has seen regular citizens marching in the streets, informed and vocal Americans showing up at town hall meetings in droves and A MILLION FIRED-UP CITIZENS rallying on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.  These are all sights the elites are not so familiar with.

We suggest they get used to it.  Soon, they're going to to be seeing some OTHER things they're not so familiar with--new names on the ballots, new voters at the polls, hard-fought primary races and some SURPRISES on election night.

Finally, we'd like to express thanks for the efforts of a very special group of leaders.  Although we are thankful for everyone involved in this movement, we are PARTICULARLY grateful for the efforts of our NEIGHBORHOOD COORDINATORS.  This movement will succeed because--and ONLY because--this is a grassroots, bottom-up, neighborhood-driven movement.  Our neighborhoods are THE KEY to taking back our nation, and our Neighborhood Coordinators are the key to taking back our neighborhoods.

Not content to let the hard work go undone, our Neighborhood Coordinators have shown the INITIATIVE to step up and take on extra responsibility.  They've had the COURAGE to take a lead role in the destiny of our nation.  They've worked hard to see to it that their fellow citizens are as informed and involved as they can be.  For all these reasons and more, we are thankful for the involvement of our Neighborhood Coordinators, who deserve our sincerest heartfelt gratitude.  Each and every member of this group is strongly encouraged to let your Neighborhood Coordinators know--not assume, KNOW--that we all appreciate their hard work.  Please take every opportunity to let them know it.

There are great things ahead for us, and we are thankful to be forging ahead with you.

Happy Thanksgiving to each and all of you.

I am thankful for all of the amazing people that are a part of this movement in their own ways. I'm grateful to be an active member, and thankful to have such wonderful support from so many patriots across the nation. We have tough journey ahead, but I couldn't imagine fighting for liberty alongside any other group of people on the planet.

The rest of the country will be thanking us later!

I'm thankful for the "firsts" among us who drew the line and took a stand. I'm thankful for Ken, Phillip, Katrina, Dave and so many more. You are our strength whom we have grown to love as brothers, sons and daughter. It is your drive and vision through the grace of God the binds the group.

I'm thankful also for every soldier who puts is life on the line so that I may sit in quietly and free.

I am thankful for those who served, sacrificed and kept the watch while we took for granted.

I'm thankful for the guidance of history's teachings so that we do know there is hope and while our country has left it's course we know the way back. We know that no sacrifice is too great for our beloved America.

I'm thankful to God for trying us with this task and causing us to be conscious of our blessings. Through His teachings and with each other we will find strength to not only survive but to prevail!

I'm very thankful to the men and women who have gone before and have enabled us to live in such a wonderful country, even with all the problems facing us today. Thank you to all you grassroots patriots out there for bringing me out of the shadows and allowing me to join you in taking back our country. It is a privilege to stand with you.

I'm sorry but you are wrong. We are slowly losing our freedom of speach. Remember "fishy emails". I am thankful for the tea party people but not the people that call us tea baggers. We have a hateful biased media & and unemployment rate & so much debt this country may never recover.
by Jim  2009-11-25 20:58:21
I am thankful for George Washington and his steadfastness in keeping the Revolutionary Army together for 8 long years. I am thankful for Abraham Lincoln

I thank God that I was born and live in the greatist nation the earth has ever seen. More good for more people than ever before. Surely, this USA is a manififestation of God's promise to Abraham and Christ' "great tree" prophesy. So, Lord, I'm humbled as I say, Thank You! God Bless the USA.

Yes, we should be thankful for the greatest nation on GODS green earth. But we should also be thankful for all our freedoms, and I suggest that , in the spirit of being thankful, we exercise them all. Including the right to free speech, to criticise our out of control gov ernment, and to take back that control, in both 2010 and 2012. Let's keep this movement growing!
by Rick Spletter  2009-11-26 13:54:34
I am grateful for the tireless work of Phillip, Ken, and Katrina. You have provided a platform for all of us to stand upon, and continued to offer democratic leadership that fully inclusive. I brag on you guys often. Because of your leadership style, I continue to want to do more and more for the cause.

I am Thankful that there are those in this nation willing to work and sacrifice for the values upon which it was founded, for the Constitution and all TEN of the Bill of Rights.

by Ed Kelly  2009-11-27 20:10:55
I am thankful for the love that GOD has for everyone. We take him for granted so often. Without HIM we would be without. We would go hungary, get cold never see anything beautiful and would serve no purpose. GOD is the ultimate thing to be thankful for. To think that he sacrificed his only son for you and I to be sitting here today is defiantly something worth thanking HIM for.

I extremely grateful that the Fairtax is picking up steam - I continue to look forward to the US jobs, manufacturing and huge economic boom that passage of H.R.25/S.296 will create! Share the gift of knowledge of it! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FairTax

I. like most of the rest of you, am terribly concerned for our country.
There appears to be many good organizations like this that are attempting to do something about it.
How do we unite some or all of these into a simple common cause of liberty and small government?
Suggestions?

I also thank all the past generations who have served our nation with special thanks to my father (WWII) and uncle Michael (WWII-KIA) and uncle Tony (WWII), my grandfather (WWI), my brother, friends and comrades (SE Asia).

Is anything being done to pressure state leaders? In my view the most effective use of our energies and time should be directed at state leaders to "take the 10th" and stop government abuses at our borders.
Right now state leaders are spineless. Why? Because WE THE PEOPLE are their spine and we are silent. Consequently, state leaders are more influenced and threatened by Washington than WE THE PEOPLE.
I believe we must let them know we EXPECT them to protect and defend us by means of invoking the 10th amendment. That we not only have their backs, WE ARE THEIR BACKS. We will support them, we will cheer them on, we will keep them in power---and if they don't WE THE PEOPLE will throw them out and get others who will reclaim state sovereignty.
Trying to change things via Washington is difficult to impossible. I believe we can affect Washington more quickly and more profoundly by solidifying state resistance via our leaders---JUST AS IT SHOULD BE in a Republic!
But our ef
